Police apprehend five murder and kidnap suspects in Niger state

Five murder and kidnap suspects have been apprehended by the men of the Nigeria Police, Niger state command.

A statement signed by the command’s public relations officer, Wasiu Abiodun says, the three murder suspects were arrested by Police detectives attached to Chanchaga division, in connection with the murder of two teenagers.

The remains of the teenagers were found behind Muhammad Inuwa Wushishi housing estate, Minna.

The suspects are forty one year old Umar Ibrahim, twenty seven year old Nuhu Ahmadu and twenty three year old Saifullahi Ahmadu, all of Kpapi village in Chanchaga.

They alleged that the two teenagers encroached into their farmland while carrying out illegal mining

The two kidnap suspects were arrested by detectives attached to erena division in Shiroro local government area.

The suspects are Danladi Sarki, twenty five years old, of Nakudna village, and Yunana Danjuma, twenty eight years old,  of Kusasu village in Shiroro local government area.

They were arrested in connection with a kidnap carried out by fourteen persons.

The statement adds that investigations are ongoing and the suspects will be arraigned in the court soon.
