Adamawa residents have been speaking on the newly established North East Development Commission, NEDC.
Many say they are yet to feel the impact of the Commission.
They cite examples of communities destroyed by the activities of insurgents which are yet to be rebuilt. They recall that it is over a year since the commission was established, with nothing to show.
Established in 2017, the Northeast Development Commission, charged with the responsibility of rehabilitating, rebuilding and reconstructing communities affected by insurgency, as well as tackling the menace of ecological problems and other related environmental or developmental challenges in the Northeastern states of the country, has been getting a poor scorecard.
