In preparation for the reopening of schools in Abia State, next Monday, 10th of August, a health training workshop has been organized for Principals, Headteachers and teachers.

The workshop is part of efforts by the state government to ensure that students are protected from Covid 19, while taking their examinations.

The training which is done simultaneously in the three Senatorial zones of the State state is to keep the teachers abreast of preventive measures against covid-19.

The Infection Prevention and Control Focal Person for Covid 19 in the State and also one of the Resource Person sat the Workshop,Okorie Onuka assured parents not to be afraid of sending their children to school, insisting that the state Ministry of health has put everything in place to ensure safety of students.

For the teachers, the workshop is timely as it has given them opportunity to know more of the preventive measures against covid-19.
