The Chairman Senate Committee on works and Senator representing Imo North, Ndubueze Patrick has called on the people of Okigwe zone, Imo State and Nigerians at large to see Nigeria’s independence day celebration as yet another opportunity to rekindle love and deep sense of patriotism for the country.

He further beckons on the people of Okigwe zone, both at home and in the diaspora to imbibe the spirit of nationalism and comradeship which, according to him, are virtues greatly possessed by our founding fathers.

In his words, “when we love our country, our sense of commitment to and faith in it is unwavering, and our ability to accomplish greater ideals and eventually serve our collective interests is enhanced”.

Senator Ndubueze further implored Nigerians not to relent in their support for the renewed Hope agenda of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administration. This, he says, is a pathway to a Nigeria of endless possibilities and a veritable channel for the actualization of our goals and potentials as a country.
