Abia State Governor Alex Otti has performed the ground breaking for the construction of the Abia Industrial Innovation Park AIIP, at Owaza in Ukwa West LGA of Abia State, South East Nigeria.
The project is expected to create over ten thousand direct and indirect jobs for the people.
Governor Otti explains that the completion and take off of the Abia Industrial Innovation Park will mark the beginning of industrial revolution not only in Abia State, but Nigeria.
Otti notes that the project will unlock the economic potentials of Ukwa and Abia State in general, create jobs for the teeming youths, with other attendant multiplier benefits.

The Governor who captioned his speech “Maximizing Opportunities Through Partnerships”, says the project was conceived to serve as a launch pad for Abia economic rejuvenation, leveraging the many advantages of the area, including being rich in oil and gas.
The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, emphasized that the AIIP project embodies the essence of progress, innovation and economic development.
Kalu adds that it is a transformative journey aimed at sustaining economic growth, generating employment opportunities, and positioning Abia State as a hub for innovation and industrialization.
