SWAN Security Cup Kicks Off Wednesday In Abeokuta

Ogun State Sport Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN will hold it’s third edition of SWAN Security and Safety Cup beginning from Wednesday 4th October 2023.

Chairman, Ogun State Chapter, of the association, Michael-Azeez Ogunsiji in a draw at weekend at the MKO International Stadium, Abeokuta said the opening match will be between the Nigeria Customs Service and Nigeria Immigration Service at the main bowl of the MKO stadium.

Ogunsiji said the registered security agencies for the competition are the Nigeria Customs Service, Nigeria Police, Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency, NSCDC, So Safe Corp, Amotekun, Forestry Guard, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, DSS and Nigeria Fire Service.

The SWAN/Security and Safety cup is a football competition organized for security agencies in Ogun state by the state chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) to foster unity among security agencies in the state.
