A Dunamis church located at Mission Ward North Bank in Makurdi, Benue State, has collapsed, killing at least one pastor.
It was gathered that the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, October 3, 2023.
According to eyewitnesses, 4 individuals including the pastor were observing prayers at the church building before the incident occurred however the other three individuals escaped the wreckage.
The Police Public Relations Officer for the Benue State Police Command, Anene Sewuese Catherine, who confirmed the incident said: “Only one person has been confirmed dead for now.”
