The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday received president Bola Tinubu request to screen and confirm additional three Ministerial Nominees to serve in his cabinet

The three nominees are Jamila Bio, Balarabe Abbas and Olawale Olawande.

The president ‘s request is contained in a letter read during plenary by the President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio

This is coming barely three months after the upper chamber confirmed 45 nominees

Balarebe Abbas is the current Secretary to State Government in Kaduna state under Governor Uba Sani and also held the same position under the former Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

This is coming after the Nigerian Senate stepped down the nomination of Nasiru El Rufai as ministerial Nominee from Kaduna state.

Ayodele Olawande is to represent Osun State and Jamila Bio Ibrahim to represent Kwara state

The Senate had in August after screening the first 48 ministerial nominees forwarded to it in July by President Tinubu, confirmed 45 and withheld confirmation of three .

The three nominees stepped down by the upper chamber include Stella Okotete from Delta State , Abubakar Danladi from Taraba State and Nasir Elrufai from Kaduna state.
