Reactions have trailed the outcome of the Rivers State election petitions tribunal judgement which reaffirmed the victory of Sim Fubara as the Governor of Rivers State.

Those who spoke on the outcome expressed diverse opinions with regards to fairness in the judgement and the basis on which their decision was reached.

The victory of the Governorship candidate of the peoples Democratic party pdp in Rivers State Sim Fubara as announced by INEC was challenged by four other candidates who took part in the election after he polled a total of three hundred and two thousand six hundred and fourteen votes defeating his closest rival Tonye Cole of the All progressives congress APC who scored a total of ninety five thousand two hundred and seventy four votes.

With the outcome of the Governorship election petition tribunal which reaffirmed the victory of Governor Sim Fubara, stakeholders believe that Rivers people who turned out and voted enmasse for the pdp candidate have been vindicated.
