The Nigeria Union of Pensioners, NUP Wants the federal government to include retirees and older persons in any form of palliatives being distributed to Nigerians.
NUP President, Godwin Abumisi at a briefing in Abuja to commomerate the 2023 pensioners day, said, the palliatives for retirees and older persons should be distributed through the relevant government institutions.

The pensioners are also calling for the completion and implementation of the 2015 pension review and harmonisation process among other outstanding due to them.
The theme of the 2O23 Pensioners day is ; Subsidy removal effect on the lives of pensioners and older persons.
