All miners operating in Benue State North Central Nigeria have been given up till the end of November this year to register with recognized groups and cooperatives in the sector to regularize their activities and be recognized by the State Government.

Chairman State task force on Illegal Mining Comfort Adadu who stated this while addressing journalists in Makurdi the state capital insisted that any miner not properly registered after the grace period will face appropriate sanctions.
