State Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has continued its ward to ward campaign in Edo Central Senatorial District with a tour taken to the 11 wards in Esan North-East Local Government Area.

The party’s standard-bearer, Governor Godwin Obaseki, assured the people of all-round development in the state.

The campaign trail of the PDP was in Esan North East Local Government Area to tell the people of the policies and reforms embarked upon by the incumbent Governor and candidate of the PDP.

They arrived at the palace of the Ojuromi of Uromi, His Royal Highness Anslem Aidenojie II, where the standard-bearer, his running mate, Philip Shaibu, and Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Frank Okiye, were decorated.

The Ojuromi of Uromi appreciated Governor Obaseki and his transformational agenda.

The team proceeded to wards one to three at Arue in Uromi to meet with the indigenes who had gathered to receive them.

The Chairman of the State Campaign Council, Dan Orbih, recalled with nostalgia, the days of the late leader of the party, Tony Anenih. He stressed that the opposition cannot get votes from the area.

Governor Obaseki appreciated the show of love in Esan North East. He said a lot has been achieved and more will be done when he returns for a second term in office.
