The Chairman, in a statement by the Information Officer of the council, Kado Nura, while receiving the policemen, advised them to discharge their duties diligently, without fear or favour.

He urged them to liaise with local security outfits in the area.

Wurma also commended the efforts of Governor, Dikko Radda, in ensuring peace and a stable community in Kurfi and Katsina State in general.

The chairman advised the people of Kurfi Local Government Area to report any suspicious movements to security at all costs.

Kurfi is among the 22 out of the 34 local government areas under terrorist attacks in Katsina State.
