An All Progressives Congress(APC) Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Ibrahim Oloriegbe has called for an urgent review of the procurement process to ensure proper implementation of Nigeria’s national budgets.
Briefing journalists in Ilorin, Oloriegbe said the current procurement process constitutes a huge bottleneck for an effective and efficient implementation of budgets in the country.
The Lawmaker advised that the “No objection process” adopted as a result of Covid-19 pandemic should be applicable on all projects.

This was as the lawmaker called for credible electoral reform; advising the Federal Government to immediately adopt the use of technology to reduce cost of running elections in the country.
