Justice Efe Ikponmwonba of the Edo State High Court has remanded seven suspects in connection with the August 6 invasion of the state’s House of Assembly.
They were remanded in police custody pending the hearing of the case which has been fixed for September 3.
They are facing charges of illegal possession of firearms and disturbance of public peace.
The charge indicates the identities of the suspects as Odion Osayande, Osayomore Salami, Festus Agbonrenren and Ogbeiwe Wilfred.
Others are Morgan Uwaigboe, Ifeoluwa Oladele and Iginobaro Collins.
They were reportedly arrested at the Edo Assembly complex with five double-barrel long guns, two single barrel long guns and 10 live cartridges.
