Criticisms have been trailing the defection of the former majority leader of the Rivers state House of Assembly Chidi lloyd to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. The three time state lawmaker says he left the all progressive congress Apc as part of his constitutional right.
Chidi lloyd says his association with the PDP is all about home coming and the desire to support the Rivers State government in its developmental strides.

Chidi lloyd commended Governor Nyesom Wike on his development initiatives saying that comments before now were totally different from current developments across the state
He denied allegations of harbouring grudges against members of his former party APC saying that reconciling with those he might have offended about seven years ago remains the greatest peace ever achieved as a politician .
