There is heavy security presence at the Lekki Tollgate as there are indications of a planned protest to mark #EndSARS protest with its attendant events that unfolded at the spot three years ago.
Although organizers of the protest are yet to show up at the toll gate, the growing fears among the people within the area has made it a no-go area for now as security operatives take position in the vicinity.
The Lagos State Police Command had on Thursday warned that it will not tolerate any form of gathering at the tollgate in the Lekki area of the state.

This is coming as some civil society organizations prepare for a peaceful march to mark the third anniversary of the incident that took place on October 20, 2020.
Lagos State Command Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin said no gathering or convergence whatsoever would be allowed anywhere around the toll gate.
