The battle for the soul of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Ekiti State has continued following the controversies that trailed the Congress of the party in the state. The crisis has led to the emergence of two executives in the state.
On Tuesday, the group loyal to a former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele fayose, took control of the party Secretariat amidst jubilation from loyal members.
The factional chairman of the group Bisi Kolawole said that he remained the authentic chairman of the party in ekiti State.
He said the Congress conducted by his group, was witnessed by the committee set up by the national working committee of the party.
