The governorship campaign of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Edo State has resumed its ward-to-ward campaign with a trip to Iruekpen in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo Central Senatorial District.
This follows the two-day suspension of its campaign after the death of two policemen attached to the convoy of the party’s former National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole who were involved in an accident when a trailer rammed into their vehicle in Oluku, Ovia North East Local Government Area.
Upon resumption of the campaign in Iruekpen, a minute silence was observed for the fallen young police officers.
According to Oshiomhole, one of the victims was said to have gotten married two weeks ago and the other about to get married.
