Some persons suspected to be thugs have laid siege to the Ondo State House of Assembly in Akure, the state capital.
The thugs, numbering about 50 converged at the outer perimetre of the Assembly Complex in the morning of Monday.
ait.live gathered that the action is to forestall the resumption of 3 lawmakers suspended by the Speaker, an action declared illegal by the Akure High Court that has ordered their immediate reinstatement and payment of benefits including N5 million each as damages.

Meanwhile, policemen attached to the Ondo State House of Assembly are making attempts to secure the Complex following the influx of the suspected thugs.
