Residents of Imo State, South East Nigeria will now have access to free Emergency Calls.
The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ibrahim made this known in Owerri, at the commissioning of an Emergency Toll Free Communication Center.

Ibrahim explained that the communication center is to facilitate security, economic development, and the war on corruption.
Governor Hope Uzodinma applauded the federal government for the initiative, which he said will enable the state confront Covid-19 and other related matters.
The 112 Emergency Number Toll Free Call will ensure effective regulation of communication and is to assist individuals in distress and under emergency.
