Flood has forced thousands of Jebba North community members to desert their homes for over a week.
The community members are presently at the mercy of friends and family members to continue with their lives until the situation improves.
Jebba North is a riverine community in the Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger State.
In a telephone interview with ait.live , Abdullahi Jibrin, said no life was lost in the incident.
Jibrin hinted that a lot of houses have collapsed and goods worth millions of Naira were also lost.
A member of the community, Ibrahim Jibrin, said at the time of this report, the community members have so far not received any form of intervention from the Local Government Council to ease their hardship.

Ibrahim pointed out that the Niger State Emergency Management Agency’s intervention has been grossly inadequate.
