An Ogun – Lagos bound Mass Transit train moving inward Lagos Mainland from its terminus at Ijoko Ogun State has crushed two vehicles, a Highlander Jeep and a bus along the Arena axis, Oshodi in Lagos State.
Eye witness account revealed to AIT on Monday that the vehicles tried to take a quick dash across the railway line, even as railway officials flagged them to stop for the oncoming train.
The unfortunate incident did not claim the life of passengers in the bus as the passagers sensing the danger ahead managed to jump out of the bus.

It was not certain if the driver of the Highlander Jeep was alive or dead, but the Jeep was badly damaged.
The train was forced to stop at Oshodi Station to allow railway officials to remove the damaged vehicles from the track, to allow the train to continue its journey.
The train had earlier departed from the Ijoko Terminus at about 6:30am on Monday morning, being the first trip after the suspension of train services for over five months.
