The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria has dispatched a letter to the presidency calling for a reversal of the latest increase in the price of petrol and the electricity tariff, failure of which it will commence industrial action and national protests.

It could be recalled that the TUC in the wake of the increases, described government action as a gradual and steady annihilation of Nigeria.
