Unknown gunmen have attacked a 26-man delegation of Federal Road Safety Corps officials traveling from Sokoto/ Kebbi Command to Nasarawa for training; killing one officer in the process.
The attack took place at about 8am at Udege Junction along Mararaban Udegi on Monday.
Speaking to news men, the FRSC Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem confirmed that one of the officers was killed during the attack, 4 injured while 8 escaped unhurt.

A few others were however kidnapped by the bandits.
The Corps Public Education Officer said the incident has been reported to relevant authorities for prompt rescue of the kidnapped staffs.
