The staff of the Public Complaints Commission, PCC, have threatened to picket the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance, if the Minister, Zainab Ahmed, fails to intervene in the non-implementation of their national minimum wage.
Speaking to reporters in Abuja, the Chairman of the Nigerian Civil Service Union for the PCC unit, Ogah Folorunsho, said the Commission has been financially neglected for too long.
The workers want an increase in the commission’s budget from N3.9bn to N10bn and vowed to shut down all activities at the Commission until the Federal Government implements their request.
