The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC is reporting the discharge of 138 Covid-19 patients in the last 24 hours across the country. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases to 48,569.
There are 97 new Covid-19 infections recorded in 12 states with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now 57,242.

The states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-46; Kwara-12; Rivers-11; Adamawa, Niger, Ogun and Osun-4 each; Ekiti, Imo, and Kaduna-3 each: Plateau-2 and FCT-1.
Meanwhile, 3 Covid-19 deaths have been recorded in Nigeria in the last 24 hours as national death toll rises to 1,098
