The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the October 10 Governorship election in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede, has said the party will replicate the victory in Edo state in Ondo State.
Jegede expressed the optimism when he took his campaign to Akure North Local Government.
Accompanied by the Chairman of the Ondo PDP Campaign Committee and Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, the PDP candidate called on the people of Ondo State to vote for an individual that can bring rapid and genuine development to the State.
Eyitayo met with various ethnic groups and traditional rulers to solicit for their support.
Congratulating the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki on his re-election; Jegede said the ruling APC government in the state will be voted out in October.
Speaking, the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde echoed similar confidence.
