The ADC campaign council of Leke/Omede mandate has accused the ruling All progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state of plotting to undermine the peaceful conduct of the November 11 Governorship Election.

Spokesperson of the campaign Council Sola Adebola who addressed journalists in Lokoja over some pertinent issues said, the threat on Hoteliers in the state confirms that the ruling APC is importing thugs from other states to truncate the electoral process.

Adebola said his principal Leke Abejide has toured the 21 local government areas in the state for on the spot assessment and to canvass for votes from the people for the November 11 governorship polls.

He noted that Abejide is a man whose past records would continue to speak for him before the people of Kogi State especially his push for payment of WAEC fees for secondary school students in the state.

The campaign council berated the ruling party in the state for issuing a circular to hotels not to allow other candidates contesting in forthcoming election and their guests access to hotels in the state.

The spokesperson wants the electorate to be focused and vigilant and vote for Leke/Omede mandate comes November 11.

He called on the state government to deploy the same energy to pay full salaries to all government workers across the state.
