President Bola Tinubu has arrived Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to attend the maiden Saudi-Africa Summit, The President left Thursday morning after signing the 2023 supplementary budget on Wednesday.
Discussions at the first Saudi-Africa Summit will centre around supporting joint action, enhancing political coordination, addressing regional security threats, facilitating economic transformation through research and the local development of new energy solutions, as well as the bolstering of cross-sectoral investment cooperation.
The President is accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman; Coordinating Minister of the Economy and Minister of Finance, Wale Edun; Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu; as well as Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu.
Others with the President in Riyadh are National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu; Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai Abubakar; and the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Mallam Jalal Arabi.
