Nigerians on the streets of Jos in Plateau State have expressed disappointment over the last-minute suspension of the planned nationwide action organized by labour unions.

Those who spoke say, the NLC has now become an organized tool to deceive Nigerians, describing the suspension of the planned action as the biggest betrayal.

Others however, believe that, Labour did not represent the interest of Nigerians while taking the decision to call off the protest.

The Coalition of Civil Society groups in the state expressed shock and say, Nigerians must stop waiting for labour to act on their behalf.

As further negotiations continue for the next two weeks, Nigerians eagerly await the outcome, hoping that it would address the challenges they are facing.
