Nigeria’s former military Head Of State, General Abdul-Salami Abubakar, has advised the citizens to hold their elected leaders accountable if they must attain greatness.
General Abubakar gave the advice during a media round table in Minna, the Niger State capital. He noted that Nigeria as a country has achieved some level of success in the last sixty years of its independence.
The former military Head of State adds that Nigerians should stop sabotaging Government’s economic policies, aimed at improving their lives.
The elder statesman further said that, no nation can attain greatness, in an atmosphere of insecurity.

He commended Nigerians for the peaceful transition, from Nineteen ninety-nine to date and urged them to improve on the successes achieved in this regard.
