Zulum

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has conveyed his best wishes to President Muhammadu Buhari and to all fellow citizens, as Nigeria celebrates its 60th independence anniversary.

Zulum, in a statement he signed, also thanked Nigerians who have shown empathy for the people of Borno, in the midst of the daunting challenges facing the state.

He said that Borno deeply appreciates the love shown by countless Nigerians and from leaders at different levels.

The Governor said that with the level of support being received, Borno’s optimism for peace and recovery, has continually increased.

Zulum hinted that Borno’s hope is as fresh as its trust and confidence in Nigeria’s gallant armed forces and volunteers, who have shown great sacrifice and an overriding commitment to Borno’s shared desire for a peaceful state, a peaceful northeast, and a peaceful Nigeria.
