Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has applauded the Court of Appeal’s verdict, upholding his victory in the March 18th Governorship Election.
While he described the outcome at the appellate court as a victory for the people, the main opposition party in the state says, it will exhaust the legal option, to recover the governorship seat.
As the Court Of Appeals’ verdict affirming Governor Hyacinth Alia’s election is swiftly applauded, expectedly, the reverse is the case for the main opposition party whose appeal failed.

Despite the ruling against them, they are not deterred, as they say it is not over yet.
