Nigeria discharges 357 Covid-19 patients, records 118 new cases

There are 357 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours as total number of successfully treated cases in the country hits 51,308.

Meanwhile, 118 new Covid-19 infections have been reported in 14 states bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 59,583.

The states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-41; Rivers-19; Osun-17; Nasarawa-13; Kaduna and Anambra-5 each; Edo, Ogun, Kwara and Ondo-3 each; Katsina and Niger-2; Plateau and Akwa Ibom-1 each.

The Covid-19 national death toll in Nigeria remains 1,113 as no new fatality is recorded in the country in the last 24 hours.
