Emotions ran deep as Family Members, Colleagues and Friends of the Late Jika Attoh gathered in Enugu on Thursday to honor the life and legacy of the ace broadcaster through heartfelt tributes and songs.
The candlelight procession within the House On The Rock Church Enugu, South East of Nigeria set the sober mood for the event which marks the beginning of the final earthly journey of the body of late Nkemjika Attoh.
Friends, colleagues and family members of Late Attoh, struggled to contain their emotions while paying glowing tributes to the departed.

Rev. Dr. Edwin Biayiebo, describes the late broadcaster as a selfless man devoted to others.
The rich gathering, representing people from different walks of life, added a fitting touch to the tribute for the veteran journalist and pioneer co-anchor of AIT’s flagship breakfast show, KAAKAKI.

Jika Attoh, a seasoned professional in broadcasting, mentor and teacher, left an indelible mark in the broadcast media practice both nationally and internationally.
Fondly remembered for establishing the first 24-hour FM broadcast service with captivating programming, the Cosmo FM Radio in Enugu, Southeastern Nigeria, Jika’s legacy resonates in the hearts of many.
Jika Attoh passed on in October 2023, at the age of 65.
