President Bola Tinubu says he is happy that the all progressives congress, APC, won two out of the three off cycle elections in Kogi, Imo and Bayelsa states.
The president who said this when the Governors of Kogi, Imo states and Kogi state Governor-elect, Ahmed ododo, visited the state house on Friday also received the Grand mufti of Muslim community of Zimbabwe.
The two governors-elect at the just concluded off cycle elections in Kogi and Imo state were in the villa for a thank you visit.
While Imo state Governor is serving a second term, Kogi state Governor elect will be starting a new term of four years.
The Grand Mufti of Zimbabwe’s Muslim community and head of the fatwa department for the Council of Islamic Scholars of Zimbabwe, Ibn Musa Menk,
who is in Nigeria for a peace and unity convention called on Nigerians to be united and respect constituted authorities.
The Grand mufti of Muslim community of Zimbabwe thanked president Tinubu for the warm reception and promised to continue to pray for Nigeria and her leaders.
