Nigeria now has over 60,000 confirmed Covid-19 cases as 111 new infections in the last 24 hours take the total in the country to 60,103 since the index case was recorded on February 27.
There are 13 states that have recorded the 111 new Covid-19 cases including Plateau-32; Lagos-23; FCT-15; Osun-11; Ogun-9; Oyo-6; Imo-4; Bauchi, Kaduna and Yobe-3 each; Rivers-2.
And in the last 24 hours, 97 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria with the total number of successfully treated cases now 51,711.
Meanwhile, 2 new Covid-19 related deaths have ended the 7 straight days of no fatality in Nigeria. The national Covid-19 death toll has now risen to 1,115.
