Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun says his administration is committed to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state.
Abiodun who said this in Abeokuta at a breakfast meeting with investors in the state, also implored the entrepreneurs to be alive to their corporate social responsibilities in their business environments.
The interactive meeting with the State Chief Executive which had captains of industries from across Ogun State focused on the ways of ensuring ease of doing business.
The economy players highlighted; poor power supply, double taxation, poor infrastructure, security and capital, among others as challenges affecting businesses in the state
Governor Dapo Abiodun in his response to the entrepreneurs said government is aware of the importance of local direct investments, informing them of his drive to create an enabling environment to attract investments and make businesses thrive in Ogun State.
Governor Abiodun also told the gathering that the difficulty previously encountered in accessing the Certificate of Occupancy (C-of-O) on lands has been addressed in order to encourage investors in the state.
