Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun on Thursday, presented a N703.03billion Budget proposal before the State House of Assembly in Abeokuta for the year 2024 fiscal year.
Giving a breakdown of the budget tagged; “The Budget of Sustained Growth And Development,” the Governor disclosed that a total of N287.37 billion as Recurrent expenditure component of the bill, while N415.66 billion is proposed for Capital expenditures.

Speaking further, Governor Dapo Abiodun noted that N105.88 billion has been placed for Overhead Costs.
In 2023, a total of N472.250 Billion was approved by the State lawmakers for the budget year.
