A total of 13 states have recorded 179 new Covid-19 infections in Nigeria in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 60,834.
Lagos State has 116 of the new cases; Anambra-20; FCT, Oyo and Rivers-9 each; Delta and Nasarawa-3 each; Edo, Kaduna, Ogun and Plateau-2; Ekiti and Osun-1 each.

Meanwhile, 137 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases rising to
52,143.
There is 1 more Covid-19 death reported in Nigeria with the national death toll from the pandemic put at 1,116.
