The remains of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP State Chairman in Zamfara State, Ibrahim Mallaha has been committed to mother earth in Gusau, the State capital.
He died in a private hospital in Germany where he was receiving medical attention.
The Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Tukur Jangebe who led the funeral prayers, called on Nigerians to fear God and to be at peace with everyone as they do not know when death will come.
He urged political leaders to provide good governance, transparency, fairness and justice to all, irrespective of ethnic, religious, political or social status.

The funeral rite was attended by Governor Bello Mohammed of Zamfara State, his Sokoto State counterpart, Aminu Tambuwal and the deputy governor, Mahadi Gusau.
Also, former Governor of Zamfara State, Ahmad Yeriman Bakura, Ibrahim Wakala who was the immediate past deputy governor of the state, Secretary to the State Government, Bala Maru, former and serving senators across party lines among other high profile citizens of the state were present.
