Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, has appealed to Nigerian youths especially the #Endsars protesters to give the Federal Government sufficient time to implement their demands.
Speaking after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari alongside the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, the Senate President said the protest will affect the economic growth of the country if allowed to continue.
He said that since the President has already taken a position on the issue by ordering the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to disband SARS, there is no other genuine reason to continue with the demonstrations.
He further appealed to the youths to put the corporate existence of Nigeria first before any other consideration.
