Appeal Court Verdict: Plateau Groups Stage Solidarity Walk For Governor Mutfwang

More groups have continued to show support for the Plateau state governor Caleb Mutfwang in the wake of the election tribunal judgement at the court of appeal.

The Plateau support network, during a solidarity walk in Jos, the state capital, expressed Confidence in the Judiciary and urged it to uphold the mandate of the people of Plateau, who voted massively for Mutfwang in the February 2023 election.

It is not a protest, but Peaceful walk by Plateau citizens who came out in their numbers, holding placards and banners, chanting songs of solidarity.

The People who expressed confidence in the judicial system of the country, are calling on the men of the bench to save democracy on the Plateau.

They added that in less than one year in office, the Plateau state governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has put the state on the right track of development.

The solidarity walk brought people from various parts of the state together, irrespective of their religious beliefs and ethnic affiliation, as they also passed a vote of Confidence on Governor Mutfwang.
