A Chief Superintendent of Police and Divisional Police Officer OF the Itam police division in Akwa Ibom State, CSP Francis Erhabor, has been honoured as one of the 2020 public service integrity award winners by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission, ICPC.
At the award ceremony in their zonal office in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, state chairman of ICPC, Prof Bolaji Owasanonye, said that the police officer was honoured for integrity and honesty.
The decision by the ICPC to honour CSP Francis Erhabor did not come as a surprise to many in Akwa Ibom state, as he was described as a shining light in the Nigeria Police.
A representative of the chairman of the anti-graft body ,Grace Chinda said that CSP Erhabor track record of integrity stood him out.

Responding, CSP Erhabor stated that he took a decision to uphold honesty and eschew any form of corruption while joining the police force 30years ago.
Students who performed very well in the essay competition were also honoured. They included; Oghene Whisky, Noble Pedro and Juliet Mfon.
A musician, Uche Williams, also received an award.
Prizes ranging from laptops, plaques and certificates were given to the winners.
