A twenty- four hour curfew has been declared across Osun state from midnight Tuesday until further notice.
Governor, Gboyega Oyetola said the events of the last 48 hours, during which his convoy was also attacked in Osogbo, the state capital when he went to address the #End SARS protesters, “has shown clearly that the protests have been hijacked by criminals and hoodlums”.

He maintained that as a responsible and responsive government that took the sacred oath to protect the lives and property of the citizens, the government will not sit and watch criminals unleash terror on the State.
