The Minister of Education, Professor Tahir Mamman has queried state governors on the backlog of pledges to pay National Examination Council’s fees for their indigenes.
The Minister who was represented by the secretary of the National Council on Education Secretariat, Olayiwoola Abosede, at the 2023 Nigeria Governors’ forum capacity building workshop for commissioners of education, says promoting education in the sub-national levels require a holistic approach.
The Nigeria Governors’ forum Director General , Ashinaya Otaru and the chairman, Committee of commissioners of education, professor Amari Omaka agree that such workshops will assist the federal government to rejig its policies to allow for seamless public private partnership in developing Nigeria’s Education
The Nigeria Governors Forum has been engaged in advocacy for better improved and qualitative health and education across States of the federation.
