Zamfara Gov sympathises with Zurmi Community over recent bandit attacks, commends troops efforts

Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has expressed sympathized with communities affected by the recent bandit attacks In a statement issued ,Governor Lawal expressed concern over recent attacks in the Zurmi Local Government Area of the state.


He however acknowledged that despite the attacks by the bandits, positive reports have indicated the elimination of notorious leaders of the bandits operating in Zamfara State.


He commended the efforts of troops of the Nigerian Army for their efforts.


The governor said security reports reaching him say troops have eliminated Kachalla Ali Kawaje, the bandit kingpin who masterminded the abduction of the students of the Federal University of Gusau. 


The successful elimination of bandit kingpins in various locations, including Danjibga, ‘Yar tsakuwa, Munhaye, Kauran Zomo ,Dansadau and Akuzo village were reported.
