Hundreds of hoodlums have taken to the streets of Calabar, the Cross River State Capital, where they looted and burnt some major public property including the Nigeria Labour Congress.
The Calabar Municipality Zonal Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office and other major private shopping malls, including Value Mart, owned by the wife of the former governor of Cross River State, Obioma Liyel Imoke.
The youths who are still destroying property in Calabar had earlier looted the Covid-19 Palliative warehouse.

Meanwhile, Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has pleaded with the rampaging youths that enough is enough, as their voices have been heard.
Ayade in a special broadcast early Saturday morning to the youths, urged them to abide with the rules of engagements of the curfew.
Hundreds of youths under the guise of EndSARS protesters on Friday night went against the curfew order and engaged in looting, vandalizing and destroying public and private property on the major streets of Calabar.
