Plateau State operation safe haven arrests more suspected hoodlums

Following the Sunday invasion and looting of some government and private properties in Jos, the Plateau State capital by some Hoodlums, the Operation Safe Haven Troops have again arrested more Persons in connection with the lootings.

The latest arrest which includes13 males & 17 Females who vandalized and Stole Items at the resident of the Former Speaker, House Of Reps, Rt Hon Yakubu Dogara’s in Jos, came few hours after another set of 109 Persons were arrested earlier in connection with the invasion and looting at the premises of the Plateau Agricultural Development Program PADP.

Items recovered by the Men of the Operation Safe Haven include Bags of rice, Grinding Machines, Unassembled Keke NAPEP, and a Bundle of Clothing Materials.

Meanwhile, ait.live gathered that the former Speaker, on receiving the information about the attack on his residence and subsequent arrest of some of those involved in the invasion, immediately ordered their released and said no one should be prosecuted and asked that the remaining items be distributed to the people around the vicinity and beyond.

As at the time of filing in this report, People were seen queuing up at the resident of the former Speaker, receiving the items.
